Business-Higher Education Forum: Call for Proposals

  • 6 Jan 2016
  • 29 Jan 2016

The Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF)’s DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) Cybersecurity Network is comprised of representatives from DMV academic institutions, corporations, government agencies, and other cybersecurity stakeholders. The goals of the Network include: increasing the access of low-income students, underrepresented minorities, and veterans to cyber credentials and cyber programs; seeding models of business-academic partnerships to support undergraduate pathways in cybersecurity; mapping cybersecurity workforce competencies; and broadly disseminating findings.

In support of these goals, the DMV Cybersecurity Network is requesting the submission of proposals (due January 29th) to seed applied or experiential learning into cybersecurity programs into the undergraduate curriculum in DC, Maryland, and Virginia higher education institutions. Submissions should reflect the goals of the Network.
