Have you used (or tried to use?) the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NICE Framework) in your education, training, or career development efforts?

The Cybersecurity Skills Journal: Practice and Research (CSJ) is published by the National CyberWatch Center and is the nation’s first hybrid-access scholarly publication focused exclusively on cybersecurity skills. CSJ is seeking manuscript ideas and drafts that examine the usefulness, benefits, and challenges associated with the adoption, adaptation, or extension of the NICE Framework in cybersecurity practice, to improve learning, and advance the state of cybersecurity capability maturity.

You don't need a completed manuscript to submit to CSJ: an idea, abstract, or presentation is enough to get started. CSJ’s unique constructive process grounded in a structured abstract assists authors in developing their evidence-based research into a scholarly rigorous and practically relevant manuscript that may be published in the NICE Special Issue in November 2020.

Please see our Call For Abstracts for more information about the Special Issue, and review our Author Guidelines for details on the structured abstract required of all submissions. Initial submissions should be received by July 15, 2020, to allow sufficient to develop an accepted, camera-ready manuscript by the publishing deadline of September 30, 2020.

If you have questions about your potential submission, please reach out to us.
