The 2-division College Cyber Defense Competition (2CDC) is designed for those new to cyber, or early in their development of cybersecurity skills, who have begun to develop cyber proficiency. The 2CDC competition can be a starting point for students interested in competitions and prepare students to compete in highly competitive events like CCDC, NCL, or the US Cyber Games. 2CDC has two divisions, one for teams from 2-year colleges and one for teams from 4-year universities. Teams can consist of up to 5 members, with institutions fielding up to 3 teams each in the qualifier tournament.
This national qualifying tournament is managed by the National CyberWatch Center. The competition is open to institutions in all CISA regions throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
