Coach Barbara Belon

Dr. Belón received her doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1984, specializing in teaching methodologies and curriculum development. While there, she developed an interest in computers and programming and redirected her career to the software industry.

In addition to working in software development companies, Dr. Belón returned to academia in 1999, serving as the Director of the Center for Information Technology at Norwalk Community College, Norwalk, CT.

In 2017, she once again added on another career area, as she studied to become a certified coach, and now holds an Associate Coach Credential (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Dr. Belón not only coaches individuals and teams but she is also the author of the “Fundamentals of Coaching” course and accompanying videos that are being used to give college faculty mentors additional coaching skills.

Coach Jen Kunka

Jen Kunka worked for 24 years as a freelance journalist, writing for daily newspapers and a variety of magazines. Her articles focused on small businesses, women’s issues, health topics and human-interest stories. During that time, she was also an educational events planner for the Lutheran Church.

After discovering the power of being deeply listened to as a coaching client, Jen became trained in coaching and created a coaching practice. She loves the coaching process and is excited to offer the gift of listening to her clients.

As a coach, Jen works to help people connect goals to their strengths and values. Through coaching, people often grow in resilience, capacity and confidence. Coach Wilber Holz

Wilbur Holz loves the process of creating, especially baked goods and has the book shelves to prove it is a passion. Coaching is also creative work. He loves the opportunity to ask good questions, thought provoking questions in a safe space which allows for clients to gain insights about themselves and their lives and allows them to create new possibilities in their world. Wilbur has bumped over 34 years serving as a pastor, the last 20 in Rapid City, SD. He appreciates the experience of living in the Black Hills, from bike rides on the Mickelson Trail to wandering through the woods. He is a fan of audiobooks and podcasts, listening to a wide variety of each, everything from history to social sciences to a good mystery has been on his phone at one time or another. He has been a coach for five years and has participated in further training including Care for Creation and Congregational Vitality. He is married with three adult daughters who are well launched into the world and one of those has provided the joy of a grandchild.
