(Seperate registration from)

No, I am not able to attend this year.

We welcome participation from all CISA regions!

The National Cybersecurity Capabilities and Career Summit (3CS) is a two-part event with an invitation-only National Cybersecurity Capabilities and Careers Summit (3CS) Session Proposal Development Workshop for authors of session proposals (dialogues, evidence-based practices, demonstrations) in July 2025, followed by the public event in August. For both the national and regional events, we offer travel and participant support for accepted session ideas.

Among the many informative sessions, you will not want to miss the discussion of the new designation requirements of the NSA-CAE program focused on the validation of competency development that is being developed into a national accreditation standard proposal.

Travel Stipends Available

A limited number of stipends will be awarded first-come-first-served, based on the date of your registration, and, in order of priority, your involvement in 3CS as a symposium program committee chair/vice-chair or member; session proposal reviewer; CyberWatch or National Cybersecurity Student Association (NCSA) chapter member; or a CyberWatch or NCSA premium member.

Each 3CS includes a symposium in 5 unique areas:

  • Learning and Instruction: Sessions focused on practice improvements in cybersecurity education.
  • Science and Practice: Sessions focused on evidence-based professional and educational practices – the human factors of cybersecurity.
  • Capability Maturity: Sessions focused on cybersecurity skill development for IT professionals through hands-on workshops in computer labs.
  • Technology and Careers: Depending on participation, an exhibit hall with demonstrations of the latest advances in cybersecurity tools and a career fair will be held – combining a job fair (employer booths) and a talent fair (job candidates pitch during a networking event).
  • Games and Competitions: Sessions focused on the design, development, and effectiveness of individual and team-based interactive challenges, some of which can be experienced in the Cyber Ready Arcade and Cyber Ready Gym.
